Manufacturing Today has published a profile of Sellmark Corporation — covering the company’s brand portfolio and the Verdexium innovation and manufacturing campus now rising in Mansfield, Texas.

In the interview, Sellmark Founder and CEO James Sellers traces Sellmark’s path from a garage startup to a brand-centric company with more than 120 patents and products available in over 5,000 locations worldwide. Brands discussed include Sightmark, Firefield, Pulsar, Dark30, KJI, BulletSafe, and INFORCE.
Verdexium in the spotlight
The piece also highlights Verdexium as Sellmark’s next chapter for American innovation and entrepreneurship: a multi-phase campus in Mansfield designed to help startups and manufacturers move products from concept toward production faster, with a focus on high-compliance sectors such as defense, aerospace, biomedical devices, and rugged outdoor industries.
On verdexium.com, we describe Phase 1 as approximately 170,000 SF (169,590± SF) of flexible shell space on a 22.524-acre site. The space is designed for tenant build-out, with tenants bringing in and operating their own production, prototyping, testing, and electronics equipment. A planned campus build-out will reach roughly 450,000 SF. A shared community lab is planned for tenant access, workforce training, and education; funding is still pending. Hard hat tours are available now.
James tells Manufacturing Today that Verdexium aims to compress typical commercialization timelines and strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity in North Texas, with Phase 1 as the near-term focus.
